Why it exists
Calls go better when the computer has a job.
Most tools try to replace the meeting. Meeting Mode sits in the menu bar and runs a short ritual around it — so you arrive, stay present, and leave with a page.
Focus
The rest of the machine goes quiet so the call can be the only thing.
Briefing
Who is in the room, what is open, what to say. Prep before you join.
Dated note
One file per meeting, already on disk before you join.
Capture
Actions, decisions, parked items as you go. Owners and dues, in the note and the inbox.
Calendar Join
The next event sits in the menu extra. One click into the room.
Consent-first listening
Nothing records until you start it. Listening never starts on its own.

The ritual

Flip it on
Click the menu extra, or press the shortcut. Start the next calendar event, a 1:1, standup, or a blank note.

Sit in the call
Join from the extra. Check the agenda, capture /a /d /p /q as you go, and watch the leftover time.

Wrap up
Listening is optional. Wrap-up uses what you wrote. Actions land in the inbox for the next time you meet.
